Westchester&amp;rsquo;s single family house market with&amp;nbsp;a decrease of 41%&amp;nbsp;from the first quarter of 2008. Putnam County down 31% from same period last year.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;The median sales price in Westchester of $532,000&amp;nbsp;in the first quarter of 2009 represents a 15% decrease from the $622,500 median posted in 2008&amp;nbsp;first quarter.&amp;nbsp; In Putnam County the median sales price of $342,450&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;11%&amp;nbsp;decrease from the $386,500,&amp;nbsp;in the same period of 2008.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After a slow start to the year our housing market started to show signs of activity in March as buyers take advantage of the favorable
